The C. A. Geers Piano Company was established in 1953
by C. A.(Cliff) Geers, who was at that time superintendent of the Grand
Division of the Baldwin Piano Company. The business began as a part time
enterprise serving the needs of individuals, schools and other piano
technicians. Appreciating the craftsmanship and beauty of the finished
product, word spread, and the C. A. Geers Piano Company grew into one of
the largest and most successful piano rebuilding companies in the nation.
After 35 years as part of the Baldwin Piano Company,
C. A. Geers retired and turned the rebuilding business into a full-time
business, incorporating in 1976. Today, Mr. C. A. Geers, nationally known
as one of the leading piano authorities; is celebrating 61 years in the
piano business.
