If you are fortunate, perhaps once in your life you will meet someone very special.
Not a celebrity or famous person, but rather someone, real, who possess the qualities of
virtue, skill, charisma, and the dedication to making this a better world in which we live.
It is my great fortune to have met such a person: Dr. Larry Kass.

I have rebuilt two pianos for Larry, as he insists on being called; a Steinway duo-art, and
a Mason and Hamlin A.  The Mason and Hamlin belonged to his mother and was the
piano he first learned to play.

He and his wife Sarah, are two of the most generous, kind, and genuinely caring people I've ever met.  Yet Larry insists on things being exactly the way they are intended to be.  While being very warm and caring about me and my family, he also knew exactly how he
wanted his two pianos to look and sound.  What a pleasure it is to work for someone who
knows what they want while appreciating the skill it takes to achieve perfection.

The following pictures are a tribute to this fine man.  They are photos taken at our factory
and his home during a performance he put on for about 100 invited guests.  The
performance is an "old time" radio program featuring Larry playing of the Mighty
Wurlitzer and the Steinway during a Fourth of July tribute.  Also, there are announcers
and other performers, all of whom are well known for their talent.

I hope you enjoy the photos.
